A head for business.
A heart for Madison.

It takes all of us working toward a common goal of a community we are proud of. Madison is our home; Madison is our community.

Leaders have a vision and a plan.

I plan on continuing a Community-Centered, Data-Driven, and Transparent Approach to leading Madison.

THE THREE PILLARS OF MY PLATFORM INCLUDE:

01 | COMMUNITY SAFETY
Making Madison the safest place to live, work, raise a family, and visit

02 | ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY
Following a community-based investment model to elevate Madison to new heights

03 | QUALITY OF LIFE
Revitalizing neighborhoods and prioritizing our community’s health and wellness

Growing up on Walnut Street in downtown Madison, the son of a truck driver and stay-at-home mom, I learned the value of hard work. I put myself through college and have worked hard to be successful. I absolutely love Madison and giving back to my community because I want all of Madison’s citizens to have an opportunity to be successful and happy.

I’ve been running for Madison since 1975.

“As a lifelong resident of Southern Indiana, I’ve had the opportunity to observe and work with many great public servants over the years. Bob Courtney is one of those leaders, and it has been my privilege to witness his service to the Madison community. Mayor Courtney has focused his work on ensuring strong public safety for our families, spurring economic growth and opportunity, and improving the overall quality of life in beautiful, Madison Indiana.
